We are seeking Helpdesk Specialists to provide mission-critical end-user support for internal staff on machines ranging from standard operating system implementations to more complex audio-visual, digital artist and software developer configurations. Qualified candidates will work closely with our HR and Technology departments to devise solutions across a wide range of hardware and software packages, including workstations, notebooks, phones, peripherals and audio-visual equipment. Because of the unique and advanced technology infrastructure at Uhlig, successful Helpdesk Specialists will be self-directed and capable of picking up new and advanced skills required to support and maintain a highly available infrastructure.
This position is part of our technology team, which supports multiple operating divisions that serve a nationwide customer base in a diverse set of industries, ranging from residential communities to the financial industry to the medical field.
Helpdesk Specialists are responsible for providing hardware and software desktop field support and technical assistance as well as ensuring security policies and standards are met across our company and its workspaces. Other key responsibilities include:

Candidates must have a minimum of two years experience working as part of a technology team providing computer support. Relevant certifications, including A+, Network+, CCNA and Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Support Technician are preferred but not required.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, MIS or related field from an accredited four-year college.
