We are seeking a highly organized, accurate and trustworthy financial expert to join our team as the Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst is responsible for directing and overseeing the company’s financial administration and planning, which includes financial policy development and implementation, management of accounting systems, budget planning and implementation, risk management and insurance, purchasing, taxation, short- and long-term forecasting and strategic planning. This position requires continuous oversight, reporting and interaction with the company’s senior executives. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. This position will also oversee and manage relationships and analysis with lending institutions, outside investors and the financial community.


This position is part of our Administration division, which supports multiple operating divisions that serve a nationwide customer base in industries ranging from residential management to retail marketing to healthcare.


Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for directing and overseeing the company’s financial administration and planning. Other key responsibilities include:


  • Working with software-driven financial models and preparing detailed analysis of company operations and financing
  • Continuous reporting and interaction with the CEO and senior executive team
  • Management and analysis of banking and credit relationships
  • Management of relationship with external auditors, accountants and tax authorities
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal financial and tax reporting requirements
  • Preparation, review and presentation of monthly financial statements in a timely manner
  • Acquisition analysis and implementation
  • Budget preparation and analysis for multiple divisions and
    office locations
  • Monitoring actual vs. budgeted costs on a weekly and monthly basis and identifying variances from planned gross margin
  • COGS analysis, forecasting and reporting
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Other duties as assigned


5 years of experience in a finance or accounting position with demonstrated leadership skills is required.


A master’s degree in Business Administration or a CPA is required.


Candidates must exhibit exceptional analytical, organizational and time-management skills. Other relevant attributes include:


  • Proficiency developing complex financial models using spreadsheet, database and other relevant software tools
  • Ability to research issues and arrive at reasonable, well-documented conclusions
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Strong staff-management skills
  • PC experience in a Windows-based environment required; broader knowledge of IT systems helpful
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines


Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft-based operating systems, Internet tools, telephone systems and software, and other common tools. Other technical skills include:


  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Working knowledge of database systems
